Marcus is the captain of the Annabel Lee and oldest of the crew. Born and raised in the crime-filled streets of Chicago, he has seen it all. During and after the Great War, Marcus worked as an extortionist for a local mob. However, when the FWE turned their sights on North America, Marcus put his past behind him. He served in the US Navy during the Last Stand onboard the U.S.S. Gettysburg. After the war, he single-handedly boarded and commandeered a FWE transport zeppelin and has been captaining it ever since.
Marcus tends to stay onboard the Annabel Lee whenever possible. When caught in a firefight, He usually mans the .50 cal guns mounted in the windows of the zeppelin’s carriage. On attack runs, he flies his uniwing bomber, the Sonata, equipped with two .50 cal machine guns and three in-chassis firebombs. Personality wise, he's a man of few words. Marcus is strictly business, and dresses the part, too. He is almost always seen in dress clothes and a light brown fedora.
